"Gifts of Natura" is a Canadian based store in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada. This web store is run primarily by Adrienne who is chasing her musical dream with her daughter and need to find ways to support her piano lessons and her daughter's choir & violin lessons first, as well as food, a roof over the head, saving for school, and the endless list of bills....! Our mission is to sell high quality handicrafts crafted by Nature's materials to help spread joy, positive vibrations and good intentions!
What do we sell?
Our selection of products is ever changing but our main product lines include: Himalayan Salt Lamps, Amethyst, Citrine, Tourmaline, Agate Geodes, Selenite, Gemstone Jewelry, Books & Cards on Alternative Healing & Well-Being. We are working on adding a Essential Oils line and a Herbal line for 2023.
A Bit of History
This whole business idea started when I first bought a Himalayan Salt Lamp at a health show and honestly found it helped with my nasal allergies! I was working as a Health Food Store consultant at the time and pitched the idea to my boss why don't we carry "healthy gifts"? My boss insisted people are more interested in swallowing something to achieve results and thought my idea was absurd.
Well, I believe there are many roads that lead to Rome and certainly health can be achieved in many different pathways! The more I studied and read up on Himalayan Salt Lamps, the more convinced I was to start my own adventure.
After a lot of research and fine-tuning my negotiation skills, I started importing and selling Himalayan Salt Lamps at local markets, shows, and fairs. I then moved onto opening kiosks in various malls under the trade name "Himalayan Treasures". A year went by and I realized I would like to carry other products that are not just orange in color and perhaps products that spread joy! Hence I started selling Amethyst, Citrine, and Clear Quartz and eventually opened my first store under the trade name "Nature's Elements". The store is gone now when a corporate chain wanted our spot and we could no longer afford the lease. We moved onto Etsy and now in 2022, we are a trusted 5-star store with close to 20,000 customers!
After a few good years with Etsy, we are finding their platform a bit limited and can no longer support our broad range of products so here comes our very own website! It's still a work in progress, but we are trying and we are certainly very happy you are reading this!
